A Liverpool man who was jailed for his role in a County Lines drug gang operation is now wanted by police.

Navarro, from the Huyton area, was arrested in 2017 when he had false number plates on a car.

The operation was run by Scott Hendry and his brother, Josh Hendry, as well as their mother, Leslie Aytoun, from Merseyside.

Sheffield Crown court heard the gang sent drugs worth £1.4m from Merseyside to Grimsby.

Ayesha Smart, representing Navarro, said that he became involved after becoming addicted to cocaine by the age of 17 and building up a large debt.

Police have now said that Navarro is wanted on licence.

A police spokesman said to the ECHO : "Please share and help us find Liverpool man Reece Navarro, wanted on a recall to prison.

"22-year-old Navarro has failed to adhere to his license conditions and has therefore been recalled to prison.

"Navarro is described as white, around 5ft 5, of slim build, with blue eyes and ginger hair.

"He speaks with a Liverpool accent.

"He is from the L36 area but does have links to Liverpool and Winsford."

"If you see him or hold any information, contact us via @MerPolCC on Twitter, ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
