Country star Mike Denver shares rare snaps as he celebrates daughter Mia's first birthday

Musician Mike Denver has celebrated his daughter Mia's first birthday with wife Elizabeth in rare family snaps

The country star's daughter turned one today, and the notoriously private singer shared a series of intimate snaps from the event to celebrate the occasion.

Taking to Instagram he shared three adorable photographs, in two snaps Mia can be seen sitting on the carpet as she blow the candles out on her rainbow themed birthday cake, RSVP Live reports.

Meanwhile, in the third photo Mike and his wife Elizabeth can be seen cuddling up with their daughter on their lap as they're surrounded by stunning pink birthday balloons.

He captioned the post:"Mia's #1stbirthday."

Fans and friends of the musician flooded his comment section with well wishes for the toddler on her special day.

One user said: "Happy 1st Birthday Mia. So cute."

Another added: "Ah happy 1st Birthday Mia, just a beautiful happy little girl!"

A third follower penned: "Wow happy birthday Mia. That was a quick year."

A final fan commented: "Awesome happy 1st birthday Mia you are adorable little girl, mummy and daddy must be so proud of you."

Mike and his wife Liz became first-time parents last March when they welcomed baby Mia.

She was born during severe lockdown restrictions, with Mike describing it as "a seriously tough time."

"It was disheartening not being there to witness the birth but it is also hard on mothers who have separated from their partners because of the new safety measures," he told RSVP Magazine at the time.

Opening up about becoming a dad, Mike went on: "It is like nothing I have ever experienced before. I am old fashioned in some of my ways like being a man's man, so it was very hard to hold back the tears when I first saw baby Mia.

"My heart does a jump every time I touch her or even when I stand outside and look in at her."

"The women of this world deserve to be put on pedestals for life for what they do for us men. I don't think there is any man who would go through what they have to endure during pregnancy and the birth."
