Country’s top wide receiving prospect will be in Columbus for a visit this weekend

The Ohio State football team is back in spring football mode after taking a hiatus for spring break, and this weekend is shaping up to be a huge one for recruiting.

As a reminder, this Friday March 23 is Student Appreciation Day and Ohio State seems to be using it as an opportunity to get some of its biggest targets on campus.

None of those visits will be bigger than the nations’s No. 1 wide-receiver for the 2020 class (according to 247Sports) Julian Fleming coming to town. Based upon a Twitter post from Lejond Cavazos who is also visiting Columbus after opening up his commitment when Urban Meyer retired, they both will be visiting together.

Fleming is a five-start talent and No. 5 ranked recruit out of Catawissa, Penssylvania and is thought to be a Penn State lean right now, but he has dropped hints about being seriously interested in Ohio State.

In other words, the needle is moving …

Maybe Fleming is just having fun with Ohio State fans, but he also has his wallpaper set to him in a Buckeye jersey, so take it for what it’s worth. I’m sure all Ohio State fans will be interested in hearing how his visit goes. As soon as we hear something, we’ll let you know here at Buckeyes Wire.

If the Buckeyes do land Fleming, they might be on their way to being known as wide-receiver U.
