Country Living Fair is back in Glasgow this weekend - everything you need to know

For people who love bringing the Christmas spirit into their homes, this is one of the most exciting weekends of the year.

The Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair returns to Glasgow to tomorrow and remains a huge event for lovers of all things festive.

The four-day long event sees over 350 of the UK’s finest designers, makers and boutique businesses will gather together under one roof to offer unique gifts, decorations, crafts, food and drinks and inspired interior ideas, to help bring that magical Christmas sparkle to every home.

We caught up with the organisers to find out what's going on at the Country Living Fair this year in our everything you need to know guide.

What is the Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair?

"Country Living Christmas Fair showcases new and upcoming talent, providing designer-makers with a platform to showcase their goods to high-spending visitors, who travel from all over the country to visit.  Visitors can choose from a selection of home and garden ware, arts and crafts, regional food and drink, and the latest fashion and accessories."

Where is it being held?

It is back at SEC, Glasgow from 21- 24 November 2019.

What can we expect there on the day?

"Visitors can source beautiful decorations and original gifts from gorgeous garlands and beautiful baubles, to glassware, scented candles and stylish cards. Arts and craft lovers can pick up haberdashery, ribbons, fabrics, sewing kits and craft essentials - everything required to get seriously creative this Christmas.

This is also the ideal place to find that unique Christmas outfit with a stunning collection of evening and designer daywear available, as well as beautiful accessories including bags, purses and jewellery. There will be gifts galore for the kids including handmade traditional wooden toys, beautifully-made soft toys, chunky knitwear, cosy pyjamas, pretty party dresses, bright wellies and hundreds of other items ready to be wrapped and placed under the tree this Christmas."

How much does it cost to get in?

Day and VIP tickets are available in advance and on the-door, starting at £19 for a standard adult advance ticket (subscriber discounts available). Details of all tickets can be found here.

A VIP package is available, with prices from £60. VIP visitors will enjoy priority access to the fair and receive a goody bag full of wonderful treats and access to a private lounge offering complimentary tea and coffee and prosecco throughout the day.

You can find out more and book tickets here.

"The Country Living Fair began nearly 30 years ago with a spring edition in London, and soon afterwards, a Christmas edition was launched.  In 2004, a spring edition was launched in Glasgow, which was changed to a Christmas fair in 2008.  The Glasgow show has grown significantly since its inception and now boasts over 350 exhibitors, and attracts over 17,000 visitors.
