Country legend Willie Nelson forced to cancel tour due to 'breathing problem'

Willie Nelson has been forced to cancel the remaining 30 dates on his Club Luck tour due to a ‘breathing problem’.

“To my fans,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out. I’ll be back. Love, Willie.”

The 86-year-old country music legend wasn’t due to finish his current tour until 29 November.

Nelson’s poor health has previously led to postponed or cancelled shows, with the musician unable to play at Outlaw Music Festival in 2018 due to illness and cutting a show short in 2017 because of breathing difficulties.

The singer has been touring in support of his most recent album Ride Me Back Home
