It's not been the most relaxing time to go abroad, has it?
Ever since coronavirus tightened its grip on the globe, travel restrictions have come, gone, and returned for British holidaymakers.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office advises against all but essential travel to much of the world due to the ongoing pandemic, including nations popular with UK tourists, such as France, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, The USA, Canada, Czech Republic and Croatia, as well as seven Greek islands.
Anyone landing in England from abroad is required to self-isolate for a period of 14 days when they return, other than those arriving from countries which are on the Government's Travel Corridor List.
The list names countries which passengers can return to England from without having to quarantine. Similar measures are in place in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, although they can differ slightly from England's.
Passengers who make a transit stop in the countries not on the list will also have to isolate.
The rules apply to all travel to England, by train, ferry, coach, air or any other route.
