Countdown to Georgia football (historical edition): No. 95 Bill Goldberg

With just 95 days left until the start of the 2019 Georgia football season, we take a look back at a Georgia football player who was famous in another major sport.

Bill Goldberg played for the Bulldogs in 1987 and 1989. He had a pretty successful career for Georgia and was drafted in the 11th round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the Rams. Goldberg had many chances in both the NFL and CFL before a career ending abdomen injury.

In his post football career, Goldberg became a very popular wrestler for the WWE and WCW. He became a two time world champion wrestler and had a famous undefeated streak of 173-0 while in the WCW. He even added an acting career to his resume through the years.
