As we await the highly anticipated 2019 Georgia football season, the countdown has begun as there are now less than 100 days to opening kickoff at Vanderbilt.
For the countdown, we will review the entire roster based on who is wearing the jersey number that represents the amount of days until UGA football.
For today (May 26th), we now only have 97 more days to wait. Placekicker Brooks Buce currently holds the number 97 for the bulldogs. He currently holds the number two kicking position, behind the great Rodrigo Blankenship.
Brooks is currently a redshirt sophomore. He is originally from John Creeks, Georgia and attended high school at Greater Atlanta Christian. He holds his high school’s records for longest made field goal and most field goals made in a season and career. He was even named first-team all state his senior season.
