Today, May 28th, keeps the countdown to Georgia football returning going with only 95 days left. We take an in depth look at Devonte Wyatt, who dons the number 95 jersey for the Bulldogs.
Wyatt, a 6’3, 301 lbs junior defensive lineman, grew up in Decatur, Georgia and attended Hutchinson Community College before coming to Georgia. Wyatt’s intended major is Sports Management and he is the recipient of the James E. and Peggy A. Hickey Memorial Scholarship.
In the 2018 season, Wyatt definitely showed some promise in the he got on the field. He played in eight games and recorded 19 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and 1 pass defended. He had a career high of seven stops in the Sugar Bowl loss vs Texas.
