A man who ordered $80 worth of edible arrangements for his partner’s birthday received a big, fat plate of zilch when the day came. As if that wasn’t enough, they say the store no longer exists–and Edible Arrangements is doing nothing about it.
In a viral clip, the birthday boy in question shares his and his partner’s experience with
Edible Arrangements, an Atlanta-based company specializing in fresh fruit bouquet offerings.
‘This company needs to be shamed’
“Stop whatever you’re doing and listen to this because this company needs to be shamed,” Timmy (@timmyinthewild) begins in his viral TikTok, which earned 2.1 million views as of Thursday.
Timmy explains how his partner ordered him a berry bouquet on June 5 to be delivered a month later on his birthday.
The day of his birthday, Timmy says no bouquet showed up. So they filled out a form on Edible Arrangement’s website reporting the missing order, but received no response. They then reached out to the company’s corporate number, which forwarded them to a “store that’s now closed.”
Timmy says the store where the order was sent to “doesn’t exist anymore.” Upon reading the Google reviews of that store, the TikToker finds out that he’s not the only one this had happened to. (The Mary Sue confirmed these Google reviews and indeed many reported receiving no orders after placing them.)
Timmy decides to call another Edible store nearby. According to that store, several people’s orders were getting sent to the closed store and they “have no idea why.” Timmy’s next course of action is to call customer service, but they don’t answer.
He turns to social media–gets blocked
Timmy sends them a TikTok direct message explaining what happened–his message mentions the “appalling” and “unacceptable” service he has received from Edible Arrangements.
“They literally blocked me,” Timmy says. In the screenshot he shared, Edible’s account “cannot be found.”
“Never, ever use Edible Arrangmements,” Timmy concludes. “Edible Arrangements, count your days.”
Hate for Edible Arrangements
Timmy wasn’t the only one passionately against the company–several viewers shared their own horror stories with Edible.
“I HAVE BUILT MY FYP PAGE BRICK BY BRICK!!! I am the #1 edible arrangements hater,” one user wrote. “Years ago, this same kind of [expletive] happened to me for my mom’s birthday. I will never pass an edible arrangements store without flipping it off in my car.”
“Omg! I ordered an arrangement and it never came, went to the physical store and the windows were boarded up,” another said.
Some suggested ways Timmy could get his money back.
“Report it to your bank as an invalid transaction. Services not received,” one advised.
Did he get his money back?
In an update video, Timmy reveals that the company “finally” unblocked him, and responded to the “thousands of comments” his viewers send their way.
Timmy then shares a series of screenshots showing the back-and-forth messages between him and Edible. In their messages, they appeared deeply apologetic and approved a refund request.
“This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we’re taking steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again,” one of the messages reads.
Timmy still called their response the “bare minimum” but was glad he wouldn’t be out of $80, at least.
@timmyinthewild I can’t tag them anymore because they blocked me – but Edible Arrangements…. count your days! #fyp #birthday #ediblearrangements #corporate #phoenix ♬ original sound – timmyinthewild
