Counselling for undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2021-22 in the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Tanuvas) will be conducted from February 24.
Candidates who applied for the academic stream under the 7.5% preferential reservation for government school students will undergo in-person counselling on February 24 from 9 a.m. at the Anna Auditorium in the Madras Veterinary College, Vepery. Those who applied under the vocational stream have been called for counselling at 11.30 a.m. the next day.
For special categories, such as wards of ex-servicemen, sportsperson and differently abled persons, counselling will be held on February 25 from 9 a.m.
The first round of general counselling for Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (Academic and Vocational Stream) and B. Tech degree programmes will be conducted online from 10 a.m. on February 28. Candidates will be given time till 5 p.m. of March 3 to lock their choices.
Seat will be allotted online on March 5. Candidates must report for verification and fee payment before 5 p.m. on March 16. The university has provided the details in the University websites (www.tanuvas.ac.in or www2.tanuvas.ac.in), said B. Mohan, Chairman, Admission Committee (UG), Tanuvas.
