A councillor has warned people to report any suspicious activity or "shenanigans" to Gardai and park rangers following a spate of anti-social behaviour incidents in a family friendly Dublin park including a horrific attack on a child.
Tymon Park has been littered with underage drinking and cases of teen violence in the area since lockdown has eased.
The worst ordeal of all, as previously reported by Dublin Live, was when a six-year-old girl was dragged into the bushes by a strange adult.
The child was allegedly held in the bushes and slapped by the creep who eventually let her go when her mother began frantically looking for the kid just seconds later.
Labour councillor for Rathfarnham-Templeogue Pamela Kearns said that parents need to constantly tend to their children while walking in the park.

She told The Echo: “There’s a lot of shenanigans going on in the park lately, with a lot of young people hanging around drinking, and obviously not socially distancing, and coming awfully close to older people who use the park.
“If it was my own kids, and they were over in the park, I’d go over and check on them."
She added: “If anyone sees anything suspicious in the park, they should report it to the park rangers or call the guards.”
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live they are investigating the terrifying incident.
He said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident involving a child that is reported to have occurred at approximately 2:30pm on Saturday 13th June 2020 at Tymon Park, Terenure, Dublin 6. The exact nature of the alleged incident is still to be confirmed."
