A south Dublin county councillor has issued a startling warning after "inappropriate remarks and questions" were hurled at a Dublin mum by a creep in a car as she walked.
Councillor Deirdre O'Donovan took to social media to warn residents in Knocklyon and the surrounding areas about the sicko after a worried local got in touch about the uncomfortable experience near the Scout Den on Knocklyon Road.
A mother of two herself, Councillor O'Donovan said the event was "very unsettling" and was even more sinister considering the vile man made the remarks after he was seen lurking around nearby Knocklyon Lodge: Creche and Montessori.
The man was dressed in all black and was driving a maroony-red car before eventually speeding off from the area.
She confirmed that the incident had been reported to Rathfarnham Garda Station who are looking into the matter.
She said: "Thanks to the local resident who sent me on this warning in relation to a very unsettling incident on Monday morning on the Knocklyon Road.

"Please report all incidents to the Gardai. The resident told me: 'Could you let people in Knocklyon know that my Mum was walking along by the Scout Den on the Knocklyon Road at around 10.30.
"'A man wearing black, with a black baseball cap, stopped in the middle of the road and shouted some suggestive questions and inappropriate remarks at her.
"'She ignored him and he eventually drove off.
"'It was a marroon/red car and he had previously been parked at the exit of the A-bridge walkway as she had passed him here'."
