Leeds United fans have questioned the festive fixture announcement which has left the Whites without a Boxing Day fixture and 'less rest' than their Premier League rivals. The club confirmed the new schedule on Monday afternoon, with the headline change being a new date for the home clash with Manchester City.
Jesse Marsch's side were due to host the Premier League champions on Boxing Day, but it will now be broadcast on Amazon Prime on December 28. The fixture is now due to get under way at 8pm.
The Whites' clash with Newcastle United has not been moved, and currently remains a 3pm kick-off on New Year's Eve. However, in order to 'protect rest periods between match rounds', the home tie with West Ham United has been given a new date of January 4 and a kick-off time of 7.45pm.

Fans reacting to the news on social media have joked the delay to the City clash will ensure Erling Haaland is not able to ruin their Boxing Day celebrations. But many have been left aggrieved by the change, as it will give in-form Newcastle an extra two days to prepare for the December 31 match-up.
'Couldn't write it'
'Delaying the inevitable'
'Hate this league'
'Leave that for the inlaws instead'
'Two days less rest'
'What the hell?'
