Nottingham Forest fans have hit back at claims that Leeds United will be leading the chase for Matty Cash in the summer.
Cash, who has impressed this season for Sabri Lamouchi's promotion-chasers, has previously been linked with West Ham United and Italian giants AC Milan.
Kilmarnock defender Alex Bruce thinks Leeds will be looking at Cash as they bid to strengthen their ranks at the end of the season.
The coronavirus pandemic has put the 2019-20 season on hold with Leeds at the top of the Championship seven points clear of Fulham.
Marcelo Bielsa's side look a good bet to secure Premier League football even once it is decided what happens to the rest of the season, with the EFL determined to play out the campaign.
Forest, meanwhile, fans don't want Cash to go to Leeds.
One fans said: "Leeds really?"
Another added: "Sell any of them and really we are not interested in promotion. Cash has just signed a new three-year contract to keep him and Worrall. Otherwise forget it when we start up again."
"But all we hear from Leeds fans is he’s not better than Luke Ayling!" a third said.
"They couldn’t afford him," added another.
"Every club needs to sell with FFP hovering, absolutely no chance he'll sign for Leeds," said a fifth.
"Please don’t sell him to that bunch of muppets," concluded a sixth.
