THIS "majestic" wild swimming spot could be Scotland's best and surpass the world-famous Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye.
While Glen Rosa and its Blue Pool on the Isle of Arran are severely overlooked by visitors travelling to Scotland, they offer an "idyllic" place to wild swim, overlooked by stunning natural scenery.
The location was recently spotlighted by a Scottish influencer and explorer called Mikey Youmans.
In a post, he posed the question: "Is this Scotland’s best swimming spot?"
Is Glen Rosa and its Blue Pool the best wild swimming spot in the whole of Scotland?
Describing the location in Scotland, the traveller said the "idyllic" spot enjoys rugged landscapes and is situated beneath the "pointy peak" of Cir Mhor.
Hidden Scotland adds that the wild swimming spot is also overlooked by Goat Fell and is located right beneath the beautiful Glen Rosa Waterfall.
This waterfall is generally calm thanks to the shelter provided by the glen, ensuring it is a relaxing place to take a dip (if done so safely).
While the pool is well-known on the Isle of Arran, it is, perhaps, underrated when compared to sites like the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye.
In recent years, the wonderful location has received praise from those who have come here, with users on Tripadvisor giving it a 5/5 rating.
One person simply said: "Loved this walk."

They added: "Busy walk, mixture of youngsters, families and seasoned walkers. Although it didn’t feel like we were involved in a mass conga, everyone had their own space, multiple benches along the walk to take a break or step aside while others overtook.
"Path was great, even the incline you’d hardly notice. The views are amazing!"
