Could the Titans take interest in DT Ndamukong Suh?

With the 2019 NFL Draft standing less than two weeks away, the Tennessee Titans have already made moves to strengthen their roster on both sides of the ball.

While the team will make use of the event to add young talent, they can still pick up players with NFL experience in the meantime.

One name that’s been of interest among the fan base is defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

Could the Titans potentially take interest in him? According to team reporter Jim Wyatt, this isn’t likely, and the Titans already know what he brings to the table from past conversations with him.

“The thing about Suh is the team really doesn’t need to kick the tires on him again. They spent time with him last offseason, so they kind of know what they’d be getting,” he wrote.

And d-line coach Terrell Williams has a great relationship with him from their days together in Miami. Right now, I suspect the focus is on the talent available in the draft, and it’s solid on the d-line. If things don’t pan out there, well, who knows? I talked to Suh at the Super Bowl and he was complimentary of the Titans.”

The current free agent is heading into his 10th NFL season, and totals 479 tackles, 56 sacks, one safety, 32 passes defensed and one interception.

The Titans may jump on the opportunity to make another small signing this offseason, but it’s safe to assume it won’t be Suh.
