Could a new podcast featuring former Boston Celtics Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett be in the works? At least one of the 2008 Celtics title team duo is thinking it over, if there aren’t already plans being made to bring the idea to life.
Tweeting on Thursday afternoon, Pierce broached the idea to his followers on that social media platform, asking them “The Truth and The Ticket podcast unfiltered should we do it what y’all think [?],” presumably proposing a podcast involving himself — “The Truth” — and fellow recent Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Garnett — The Big Ticket.
It’s very possible Pierce is only throwing proverbial spaghetti at the wall with the tweet, but more than a few renowned names in NBA podcasting chimed in alongside a host of fans in support of the idea.

No word at present whether there’s a project in the works here, but rest assured we’ll have our eye on Pierce’s feed to keep tabs in case it becomes a reality.
