Newcastle United fans have hailed what could be a pivotal day in the Premier League relegation battle.
Despite fighting back to claim a late point against Spurs with a 2-2 draw, the Magpies looked like they were heading into the bottom three when Fulham went 1-0 up against a poor Aston Villa side.
The Cottagers were controlling the game and looked comfortable until the 78th minute when Trezeguet equalised for Villa.
Trezeguet's second goal and a third from Ollie Watkins completed the turnaround and gave Villa a 3-1 win that means Newcastle have extended their lead over Fulham to three points.
The Magpies also have a game in hand and are set to face Fulham on the final game of the season, meaning safety is well and truly in their own hands.
Speaking post-match on Sky Sports, former England defender Michael Dawson said the turnaround could have a catastrophic impact for Fulham, particularly with how quickly momentum shifted.
"Devastated, absolutely devastated," he said on how Fulham will be feeling.
"We touched on it at half-time they were probably the better team.
"They got the opportunity through a really bad mistake from Tyrone Mings, and you're thinking, right, 1-0 here we go.
"Then all of a sudden, changes for Aston Villa put Fulham on the back foot and they got an opportunity.
"That goal seemed to kickstart Aston Villa from nowhere - Fulham just got deeper and deeper and deeper.
"The momentum changed so fast with one goal. I just couldn't see that happening."
Fulham next face Wolves on Friday night before travelling to Arsenal.
They will host Newcastle in the final game of the season in what could be a huge six-pointer.
