Cosy Edinburgh café hailed as a 'great wee coffee shop' goes up for sale

A cherished local café in the Blackhall area of Edinburgh has gone up for sale offering an exciting opportunity for potential future owners.

The charming Cloudberry Coffee and Gift shop on Craigcrook Place has attracted much praise over the years with an “excellent reputation and beyond.” The café has a 4.7 out of 5 rating on Google.

One customer left a gushing review saying: “Lovely little gift shop with quirky unusual gifts. Also excellent cafe with very tempting cakes, soup and sandwiches. Good coffee. Nice place to meet up with a friend for lunch.”

The café was listed on the website rightbiz.co.uk and is on the market with a leasehold of £79,500 and rent which is set at £18,000.

The modern café has 34 covers and could be increased and offers a wide and varied menu for coffee, cake, paninis, soups in a comfortable setting in one of the most looked-for areas in Edinburgh.

Current owner of Cloudberry, Julie said: "It's a great wee coffee shop" and that she was selling the business as she "wanted to spend more time with her family."

The shop is situated at a prominent corner location with a basement, kitchen/area, counter, storage and toilets for customers to use.
