Costa is one of the UK 's most famous coffee chains as a staple on almost every high street as the company launches a brand new vegan option, the new Bac'n'Bap with the help of a not so familiar chef.
In a now viral TikTok roasting, Gordon Ramsay refuted the coffee chains new vegan roll but Costa have had the last laugh.
To prove that faking it is no bad thing, the chain almost made Gordon the face of their latest campaign but instead opted to fake out and use his look a like for the job.
Costa Coffee’s new recipe-style video stars The F Word’s double, look-alike Martin Jordan, who also takes faking-it very seriously, preparing the new Vegan Bac’n Bap at home in an instructional trial.
Costa Coffee decided to put its delicious new menu addition to the test with the ‘world famous-looking chef’, Mr. Jordan, remarking how delicious the new vegan item was in comparison to its iconic breakfast counterpart.
Martin Jordan, Gordon Ramsay Look-alike, said: “My impersonation skills and experience were put to the test filming the trial of the Vegan Bac’n Bap, along with a rare chance to film as myself in my day job, which brought a fun element to the whole project!
"We’ll see whether Gordon agrees, as I’m no expert, but it tasted b****y good!”
A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “Gordon Ramsay might be famous for pulling kitchens apart, but the country’s favourite look-alike definitely knows how to put our Vegan Bac’n Bap together.
"At Costa Coffee we always look to challenge our alternative food offerings to provide as much choice for our customers as possible, and this breakfast alternative is very proud to be fake.”
