It's the most wonderful time of the year... and with it, comes a plethora of sugar-filled festive menus from British coffee shops.
For its 2019 Christmas menu, Costa has had the ingenious idea to combine its festive menu with another Christmas classic: the Terry's chocolate orange.
The new £2.25 muffin will see a sumptuous double chocolate muffin, filled with gooey chocolate orange sauce, finished off with a segment of the statement chocolate orange.
To go with it, there's also an entirely new Irish Velvet coffee range, (that's called Irish coffee flavour in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland), that the brand has described as "Christmas in a cup".
A decadent combination with hints of caramel and heavenly vanilla, it comes in latte, cappuccino, hot chocolate and even frostino form, and Costa are so proud of it, they'll also be stocking it across their 8,500+ Costa Express machines too.
In true Christmas form, Costa have gone all out, also launching their new festive spiced cappuccino - essentially a classic Cappuccino seasoned with a host of aromatic spices including cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise.
The new festive showstoppers join Costa Coffee’s much-loved returning fan favourites, including black forest and cream hot chocolate, gingerbread and hazelnut praline, all available as lattes or hot chocolate.

New for this year is the Vegan Society approved 'veggies under vest' sandwich, a vegan lunch option filled with falafel and parsnip stuffing, carrot, cranberry sauce, vegan mayonnaise and fresh spinach, which you can follow up with a vegan rocky road.
The pigs and blankets mac and cheese has returned, as has the turkey feast sandwich, this time accompanied by a turkey, bacon and stuffing wrap, as well as a turkey feast baguette, jam-packed with succulent turkey breast, beechwood smoked bacon, sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce.
