Costa make a change to their alternative milks this Christmas

Anyone who customises their coffee will know how much of a pain it is to have the price of your drink go up a fair whack just because you choose an alternative milk.

So it'll be music to your ears that Costa Coffee has announced it will be offering all plant-based and lactofree alternatives for free this Christmas.

Until New Year's Day, customers visiting their participating Costa store for a warming beverage will be able to customise their drink with plant-based alternatives such as almond, coconut, soya, or lactofree milk, without any extra charge.

Costa Coffee say all plant-based alternatives used in stores are “professional” and are not available to purchase in retail stores. They are specifically made for baristas, allowing them to craft the "perfect foam, froth and microbubbles to perfect Costa Coffee’s signature handcrafted drinks."

Costa Coffee’s Christmas menu and festive cup designs landed in stores nationwide on Friday, November 1.
