Costa Coffee is introducing a selection of sweet and savoury items to its menu, designed to make ideal picnic food.
The additions available from Thursday include the new Chicken & Bacon Caesar Salad and the new Greek Feta & Quinoa Salad.
There are also snacks including the Cheddar & Blackpepper mini flatbreads and the Sweet Chilli Rice Cakes
In sweets, the new chocolate muffin made with KITKAT joins the Costa Coffee range and there is a new Lemon & Blueberry Cake and a Lime & Coconut Loaf Cake.
And there’s a new Lemon Swirl Cheesecake and a new Strawberries & Cream Muffin as well as a new Cat Gingerbread, Dog Gingerbread and Jammy Flapjack.
A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “With summer well and truly on its way, we want to make sure our customers have a great selection of products to choose from while out and about. From fresh salads to a delectable sweet range – not to mention our amazing new Chocolate Muffin made with KITKAT.”
Breakfast fans will be able to buy any medium or large hot coffee or cold iced drink before 11am and choose between either a plain croissant or toast – for £1.

From Thursday, May 6 to Wednesday, June 30 choose any two selected wrapped biscuits and dried nuts and pay £2.
