Coffee lovers can rejoice as Costa has announced it will be giving away one million free drinks to Scots during December - perfectly in time for your Gingerbread Latte.
The popular coffee chain will be spreading the festive joy by rewarding their Costa Coffee Club App members with 'free' drink vouchers that will help them keep warm in this colder weather.
The exclusive giveaway will be running from Wednesday 1 December to Friday 17 December - meaning you can get extra caffeine boost while you finish your Christmas shopping.
Included in the festive warming offer, will be some of the chains popular coffees, hot chocolates and fruit coolers.
Costa has said that those who are lucky enough to be a winner, will be able to get a 'barista-crafted Costa Coffee drink – which can be customised to taste including size, number of shots and syrups.'
Only members who are registered for the Costa Coffee Club App will be eligible for the vouchers which can be used to treat themselves, or gifted to a loved one.
Lucky app members will see the see ‘free drink’ voucher will automatically appear in the apps ‘Rewards’ section.
Winners will then have four weeks to claim their to indulge in one of their favourite coffees by redeeming the voucher either in-store, or by click and collect.
A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “ Connecting with friends or family over a coffee can be a simple yet powerful moment.
"As the season for giving approaches, we’re excited to announce our one million free drinks giveaway via our Costa Club app in the hope that we can encourage our members to make someone’s day with a simple, but kind gesture of a cup of their favourite coffee.
"We also hope our one million free drink giveaway sparks not only a bit of joy but also encourages precious conversations and the great feeling making someone else’s day a bit brighter.”
The festive giveaway comes perfectly in time for those who adore Costa's Christmas menu, as the coffee chain recently unveiled their selection of winter warmers for this year.
This years festive line-up included the return of the fan-favourites, the Gingerbread Latte and the Quality Street Latte's.
To be in with a chance of winning and getting your favourite hot drink on the house, you will need to become a Costa Club App member.
