Costa Coffee reopens shops in Edinburgh for drive-thru and home delivery service

Costa Coffee has reopened two Edinburgh shops for drive-thru and delivery.

The chain announced that the Sharpdale drive-thru at Cameron Toll was back open for business while the South Bridge shop is also back up and running for home delivery through Uber Eats.

This follows a successful trial at four of their stores down south, with the Edinburgh branches among 32 across the UK back open from today (Saturday, 2 May).

Costa Coffee tweeted: "Since opening two drive-thru and two delivery stores last Friday we've had a fantastic response from our team members and customers.

"As such, and with the support of the Government, we will be increasing the number of drive-thru lanes and stores open for delivery via Uber Eats."

Edinburgh Live reported earlier on Saturday how McDonald's is set to reopen 15 stores across the UK. Locations are set to be announced next week.
