Costa Coffee launches new summer menu with KitKat muffin and lemon swirl cheesecake

If you have a sweet tooth, then you're going to want to head to Costa. The popular coffee chain has launched a brand new summer menu and it includes a KitKat muffin and lemon swirl cheesecake.

Featuring 10 new additions in total, the menu is bound to get customers in the mood for the warm season and is available from today (May 6).

The star of the show seems to be the KitKat muffin. Yes that's right, KitKat. Priced at £2.25 each, the new chocolate muffins come after the successful launch of Costa's Rolo muffin last year. You can stock up on the original KitKat bars for £2.89 at Tesco.

A lemon and blueberry cake is also included on the menu (Costa Coffee)

As well as the KitKat muffin, Costa has a new lemon swirl cheesecake that will set you back £3 a slice.

Sweet-toothed customers will also be able to choose from a lemon and blueberry cake, lime and coconut loaf cake and a strawberries and cream muffin.

What's on Costa's new summer menu?

These are all the items joining Costa's menu from today:

  • KitKat muffin - from £2.25
  • Lemon swirl cheesecake - from £3
  • Chicken and bacon caesar salad - from £4
  • Greek feta and quinoa salad - from £4
  • Mini flatbreads - from £1
  • Lemon and blueberry cake - from £3
  • Lime and coconut loaf cake - £2.50

If all those cakes aren't enough, there's also a new selection of gingerbread biscuits that are shaped like cats and dogs and cost £2 each.

While savoury fans can expect the chicken and bacon Caesar salad, £4, and a Greek feta and quinoa salad for the same price.

All of the items are now available in Costa branches nationwide - you can find your nearest cafe with the locator tool here.

However, prices for each of the items may vary from store to store.

You can also order the new Costa treats to your home using Uber Eats but you'll need to pay an extra £2.30.

The coffee chain is currently running a number of new breakfast deals.

If you buy a medium or large drink before 11am, you can get either a plain croissant or toast for just £1.

Or you can pick up a sausage bap, bacon bap, or egg and mushroom bap for only £2 in the offer.
