A conversation shared on Twitter has gone viral after showing how some people are choosing to refer to the greatest economic crisis in decades.
The cost of living crisis is a huge fall in disposable income while the cost of everything from heating and food to fuel and housing rockets.
But some people tired of spelling out 'cost of living crisis' have come up with a new name.
Sharing a screengrab of the Cozzie Livs conversation, user striking workers appreciator said she was 'absolutely losing it'.
The Tweet was quickly liked more than 25,000 times.
Sam Proctor replied: "Syllables are very expensive these days what with inflation."
