A fire described by Edinburgh residents as 'huge' has broken out tonight at Corstorphine Hill in Edinburgh.
Smoke can be seen billowing from the capital beauty spot as Scottish Fire and Rescue confirmed to Edinburgh Live that they have raced to the scene.
It is not yet known what started the fire, with the fire service receiving multiple reports of the blaze from concerned residents.
Capital locals have described the scene, with one person saying: "Well, Corstorphine Hill is on fire. It's not a small one either."
Another person said: "Huge fire on Corstorphine Hill in #Edinburgh."
According to another person, the fire can be seen all the way from Arthur's Seat.
A fourth resident penned: "I called 999 and reported it as I was just sitting at my window when I saw it start."
