Corsock cycling brothers enjoy success in British Schools Cycling Association competition

Two cycling brothers from Corsock achieved success in the British Schools Cycling Association’s national circuit championships at the weekend.

Josh and Cobey Stewart were representing Springholm Primary at the competition held at Hammerstones Cycle Circuit in West Yorkshire.

And both raced smartly and used their strength to win their respective age categories.

Josh made his winning move at the start of the final lap, maintaining a gap from the chasing bunch to take the win.

Cobey was keen to start the action early and split the group of 21 riders with six laps remaining, pulling out a 14 second lead to cross the line to victory.

Josh and Cobey would like to thank MKM Building Supplies in Dumfries and Stewartry Sports Council for their continued support.
