Corsa flips onto its roof during crash in Fife as police race to the scene

A Vauxhall Corsa overturned during accident on a Fife road on Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the scene of the crash in Glenrothes shortly before 8pm. Officers put road closures in place as the incident was dealt with and the vehicle removed.

They say there were no reports of any injuries, and only one vehicle was involved.

News of the accident was reported on Fife Jammer Locations, with traffic moving between Glenrothes and Leslie said to be disrupted as a result. Things have since returned to normal.

Images show the vehicle had flipped onto its roof and ended up on a grass verge next to the road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45 pm on Tuesday, 16 February, 2021 police attended a report of a one vehicle road traffic crash on Ballangall Drive, Glenrothes.

“There were no reports of anyone injured and the road was closed for a very short time in order to remove the vehicle.”
