Corry Evans looks set for a move to Sunderland.
The Northern Ireland midfielder is reportedly having a medical at the Stadium of Light ahead of a move to the club.
Evans left Blackburn Rovers on the expiry of his contract last month.
He is expected to sign a two-year deal with Lee Johnson's Sunderland.
The 31-year-old - who spent the past eight years at Blackburn - will follow in the footsteps of his brother Jonny who had two loan spells with the Black Cats during his time with Manchester United.
The younger Evans brother also started his career at United.
Meanwhile, Sunderland are also being linked with a loan move for the Evans' international teammate Ethan Galbraith.
