Corry Evans made a goal-scoring return from the horrific head injury he suffered earlier in the year as Blackburn Rovers came from behind to beat Bristol City on Saturday.
Evans sustained a fractured skull and shattered eye socket back in January during a game against Preston North End.
The Northern Ireland midfielder was caught by a high boot from Tom Clarke and required several minutes of treatment on the pitch before leaving with an oxygen mask on.
Evans has shown remarkable powers of recovery, and due to football's suspension during the coronavirus crisis he has been able to return to action before the end of the season.
And he made an impressive comeback this afternoon, scoring his first league goal since November 2015 to help Blackburn to a 3-1 win over Bristol City.

There was a touch of fortune to the goal, with Evans's cross from the left curling into the far corner of the net without getting a touch.
The Northern Ireland international also provided an assist as he played a starring role in the win.
Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray said: “It was a great ball in the box from him. It was a great reward for how he and we started the first-half.”
The victory moves Rovers into seventh spot in the table and within just one point of the play-off spots with eight games remaining.
It is also positive news for Northern Ireland ahead of the Nations League kicking off in September and October's Euro playoff against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
