Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne may live to regret messing with villain Geoff Metcalfe in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap.
The character steals cash from him in looming scenes, after berating him for "using" sex workers.
It comes amid his clash with new love interest Nicky who is an escort, with the pair taking their romance to the next level on Monday night.
But she soon stormed out in tears when he claimed not to be ashamed of her and her work, but refused to tell his family about her.
Nicky has a past with Geoff which is yet to be fully explored, but no doubt more details will come to light soon on the show.
In upcoming scenes, Daniel steals an envelope of cash from Geoff, which he leaves at Adam Barlow's solicitor's office.
He then hands it to Nicky to help her pay off debts and start a new life, but things soon backfire.
Geoff threatens to go to the police, before spotting Nicky with a load of money, handing some to Daniel.
He soon realises, with Daniel having been in the office, that he must have taken it.
Soon enough, Daniel is being questioned by the police about the money, and he cracks.
He tells them he stole it and gave it to Nicky, but promises to pay Geoff back every penny.
When the police tell Geoff about his confession, he turns nasty and demands punishment.
Later in the week, Daniel tracks him down and asks for his bank details so he can transfer the money over.
But is Geoff going to be as willing to let this one go, or will he find is own way to get revenge on Daniel and Nicky?
It's been hinted that Geoff and Nicky have already crossed paths, while they are set to feature in new scenes together later on.
Corrie boss Iain MacLeod recently revealed Nicky and Daniel would become involved with Geoff, and that the scenes could "become significant in the run-up to Yasmeen's court hearing".
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
