Coronation Street viewers think they've worked out Stephen Reid's next victim, after a shocking murder twist on Monday night.
Viewers reacted to the unexpected events, and guessed there was more death on the way for Halloween.
It follows the murder of Leo Thompkins, who Stephen killed before disposing of his body - while his death remains a secret for now.
But viewers think Stephen will strike again very soon, and they are convinced they know who the next victim will be.
Leo had finally worked out Stephen's sick plan for Audrey, and that his money woes were a lot worse than he thought.
He found out Stephen was trying to value his mother's property and get her to sell, so that he could steal the equity and pay back his ex-wife Gabrielle, whose company he stole money from before he fled.
As she confronted him and threatened to go to the police in the latest episode, Stephen revealed his plan to sell Audrey's home and get the money for Gabrielle.
Leo, who had just learned of Stephen's lies to the estate agent about Audrey's health and the incident with the house, heard every word.
He was stood up on the factory gantry, having gone there to find Stephen and talk it out with him.
Realising Leo had heard everything, Stephen followed him up and things got heated as Leo threatened to call Audrey and spill the beans, and then call the police.
Stephen slammed his head against the metal barrier before shoving him hard, so that he fell over the edge and landed in the bin below.
Viewers soon learned Leo was dead as Stephen found his lifeless body covered in blood.
Now, viewers think another character who has been hassling Stephen will be killed off next, with the soap's new villain tipped to become a serial killer.
Taking to Twitter, viewers guessed that Gabrielle would push Stephen to kill again, and that she would be next to die.
One viewer commented: "How long before Stephen kills his ex-wife? A Halloween murder?"
Another viewer said: "So @itvcorrie I’m guessing the next murder is Stevens Wife?"
A third fan tweeted: "Stephen's wife will be next," as a fourth wrote: "Here we go again with the serial killer story, I bet Steven kills his wife next."
