Love cheat Robert Preston's lies were finally exposed on Coronation Street in classic soap scenes.
For months Robert has been leading a secret double life, stringing along both Michelle Connor and Vicky Jefferies who is 30 weeks pregnant with his baby.
But the bistro owner, who was secretly engaged to both women, was revealed as a liar and a cheat after Michelle tracked him down to Vicky's house after growing suspicious over his behaviour.
When confronted, Robert continued to lie to Michelle saying he had only had a one-night-stand with Vicky resulting in the pregnancy.
So she went back to Macclesfield to see Vicky and both women found out the extent of his treachery.
"If I'd have known he was still with you I wouldn't have let him through that front door," said Vicky, when Michelle told her she was engaged to Robert.
"Michelle I've been seeing him for months. He told me he wanted us to be a family and he even asked me to marry him."
Michelle then went home and pretended that she believed Robert, until he went to bed and she produced the deeds to the bistro that she manages for him, and fans were delighted.
"She’s gonna take the Bistro, tweeted one viewer.
"Watch her sell the bistro from under him," said another.
"Yes! Hit him in his pocket Michelle!! That's the only way to hurt them!!" cheered another.
Vicky had no idea Robert was back with Michelle after they split earlier this year over his desire to start a family, and Michelle doesn't know that when they split up he got together with Vicky.
This summer the Corrie chef planned to end his relationship with Vicky but ended up proposing instead.
The farcical turn of events happened when Vicky prepared to leave for Ireland after refusing to be Robert's 'dirty little secret.'
Her son Tyler found an engagement ring, belonging to Michelle, in a box that he'd accidentally left behind and Vicky thought it was meant for her.
He had first proposed to Michelle last February and asked her again in June when they got back together, while stringing Vicky along.
Both Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle, and Tristan Gemmill, who plays Robert, are leaving the soap.
