Coronation Street fans took to Twitter to complain over scenes featuring a lecherous stranger inviting Kelly Neelan back to his hotel room and plying her with champagne.
Viewers were horrified to see the homeless teen in danger when she met a man called Alan in a hotel while trying to charge her mobile phone.
Kelly, who is on the streets after being released from prison, was almost caught out when a hotel receptionist demanded to know which room she was staying in while using a socket in their foyer.
When a guest called Alan came to her rescue the older man told her she was welcome to knock on his bedroom door any time.
Feeling she had no other option 16-year-old Kelly returned to the hotel and went to his room.
After ordering champagne Alan asked the teen, played by 17-year-old Millie Gibson, if she would be joining him in the shower, which she declined.
The scenes left viewers feeling sick.
Michelle tweeted: "This is making me feel REALLY uncomfortable #Corrie."
@TellyChat tweeted with a vomiting face emoji: "He’s old enough to be her dad #Corrie."

Corrie fans were reminded of similar soap scenes last year when 18-year-old Faye Windass was manipulated into sleeping with her sleazy boss Ray Crosby.
The waitress went to the much older man's hotel room thinking she was there to help him choose a new wine list for his bistro.
But Faye looked uncomfortable when the sexual predator opened the door in a dressing gown and told her he had just run a bath.
Ray then invited Faye, played by 19-year-old Ellie Leach, to join him.
The teen was later seen sitting up in bed looking awkward as the conniving businessman emerged from the bathroom.

Fans were relieved when Kelly managed to get away.
Alan emerged from the shower to find her taking his wallet she kneed him in the groin and made a run for it.
