Coronation Street's Johnny Connor could be hiding much more than first thought, as his dark past came to light on Monday evening.
Jenny Connor's husband hinted he and newcomer Scott may have killed someone years ago, or at least seriously harmed them.
The pair share a mystery dark past, with more details coming to light this week.
It's been confirmed by them that they committed a crime over 30 years ago, away from Weatherfield.
Exact details are not yet known, but what is known is that Scott was sent to prison for whatever they did.
Johnny, meanwhile, didn't come forward and fled as he let his so-called friend go to prison for the crime they both did.
The men hinted it was something to do with theft, even suggesting it wasn't their first crime.
But almost 40 years on, Scott is back in Johnny's life having not seen him or heard from him since he let him take the blame.
Amid speculation he is back for revenge, teasers about what went on between them have suggested something bad happened.
It could mean the crime they committed went horribly wrong, leading to an injury or a death.
As the two men discreetly discussed what went on, Johnny raised his guilt about someone who was caught in the crossfire.
He said to Scott: "Do you ever think about what happened to that security guard?"
Scott replied: "We were young, you have got to put all that behind you, I have."
The show didn't confirm what happened or even the fate of the mystery victim.
Many viewers were left wondering what really went on though, and whether the person died.
