Corrie star signs up for Celebs Go Dating with Wayne Lineker also in the line-up

Kimberly Hart-Simpson has signed up to Celebs Go Dating after leaving Coronation Street.

The actress, who played Nicky Wheatley, left the ITV soap after four months with her final scenes airing in September.

Kimberley, 33, has now lined up her next gig on the E4 dating show which will see single and unlucky-in-love celebrities heading off on a luxurious UK dating retreat where they will spend four weeks looking for love.

And for the first time in Celebs Go Dating history, cameras will be following the celebs 24/7 as they try to navigate the choppy waters of modern dating.

Joining Kimberley will be Wayne Lineker, Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry, Love Island's Curtis Pritchard, Strictly Come Dancing runner up Karim Zeroual, socialite and Made In Chelsea star Sophie Hermann, and internationally renowned DJ Tom Zanetti.

As always, they'll be under the watchful eyes of dating experts Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson while Rob Beckett will be poking fun at all the antics with the voiceover.

Junior Client Coordinator and celeb confidante, Tom Read Wilson will also be back.

On joining the show, Kimberly said: "I've joined the agency because I'm 33, still live with my mum and don't know why I'm still single.

"I've been putting myself out there, and joined pretty much every dating app going, so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

"Hoping Anna and Paul will help me figure that out and find my perfect match (whatever gender!)"

The soap star opened up about her sexuality during an interview with Lorraine Kelly on Good Morning Britain earlier this summer.

Celebs Go Dating will return to E4 in early 2021.
