Alan Halsall has shown his Coronation Street co-star Simon Gregson is the same in the castle as he is out of it.
The Tyrone Dobbs actor has thrown his support behind the Steve McDonald star as he appears in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
Simon, who joined the ITV soap when he was 14 in 1989, was a latecomer on the ITV reality show alongside EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt.
But he's instantly become a favourite among viewers.

Simon's on-screen Corrie daughter, Alexandra Mardell, has already pledged her support for her fictional dad.
And now Alan, who has been in Corrie with Simon since 1998, has spoken out in support.
The soap star took to Instagram with a few unseen snaps - and it's barely any different to seeing Simon in the castle.
In one Simon, who had a shaved head, had his checked shirt off to show his belly, something viewers have witnessed on multiple occasions in the last few weeks.
"If this guy is not the king of the castle..." Alan wrote across the post. "I don't know who is??"
The next photo showed Simon with his shirt completely off this time while Alan was dressed in an Incredibles outfit.
He added a '#1' sticker to the post and tagged Simon's Instagram account which is being looked after by his wife, Emma.
Simon went missing during Thursday night's show when he had to bow out of the first challenge.
I'm A Celeb's hosts Ant and Dec were quick to explain his omission from the team outing.
Dec said: "Time for a very important challenge now and at stake was a chance to spend an evening at the Castle Inn - the Castle's very own pub."
Ant continued: "This one involved all the celebrities except for Simon who was suffering from an upset stomach.
"Maybe it was something he ate at yesterday's trial."
Dec quipped: "I don't know... he sucks the juice out of a few fish eyes, spits it ina sherry glass, and downs it in one and the next thing you know he's not well.
"He's a delicate little flower, Simon Gregson," Ant added as Dec said: "Give over."
Later, after the other six stars take part in the school-themed challenge, the group headed back to the Castle to give Simon, who was tucked up in his bed, the good news.
Speaking to the Telegraph he said: "Yeah so, I was a bit dodgy in the guts this afternoon so we need some privy potpourri ."
