Corrie star Lucy Fallon show off bright new hair colour as she takes on her next adventure

Former Corrie actress Lucy Fallon was feeling ready for a change after accepting the challenge of a lifetime.

Lucy, one of 12 celebs taking part in the new ITV adventure series Don’t Rock The Boat, played around with her blonde locks at home and revealed a new bright peach hairdo.

The 24-year-old, who played Bethany Platt in Coronation Street, shared her fruity new look on Instagram.

"Mkay," she captioned the photo of herself seated at her dressing table with what appeared to be a pink and orange bottles of hair colour.

Lucy is one of 12 celebs who have taken on a challenge to row the entire length of Britain on Don't Rock The Boat.

The five-part series, to be screened later this year, will see the famous faces step out of their comfort zones and onto their sea legs.

She recently shared some photos from their time together saying: "The next adventure with these beautiful human beings. Grateful for every second of it."

Another photo showed her smiling with excitement on the boat, saying: "The best is yet to come."

Lucy is in good company because she's joined by fellow former Coronation Street star Craig Charles, ex Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas and Manchester-based Hits Radio host and singer-songwriter Fleur East.

Author Tom Watson, sports presenter and Olympic gold medalist Denise Lewis OBE, supermodel and broadcaster Jodie Kidd, YouTuber Joe Weller and Love Island winner Jack Fincham are also confirmed as well as Olympic champion Victoria Pendleton, The Chase’s Dark Destroyer Shaun Wallace and The Pussycat Dolls member Kimberly Wyatt.

Top Gear presenter Freddie Flintoff and The Voice’s AJ Odudu present the show and preside over the colossal coastal challenges.

Stars will also face a series of jaw dropping on-shore challenges to secure vital advantages over their opposition.

Celebs are split into two teams of six to battle it out to complete over 500 gruelling miles.

Lucy left Corrie after five years earlier this year.

Her character waved goodbye to Weatherfield to start a new life in London after realising her boyfriend Daniel Osbourne wasn't over the death of his wife Sinead.

The soap star won British Soap Awards for Best Actress and Best Female Dramatic Performance, an Inside Soap Award for Best Actress and a National Television Award for Serial Drama Performance for her role as Bethany.

She starred in a harrowing and awareness-raising grooming storyline which saw the teenager abused by Nathan Curtis who posed as her boyfriend.
