He's a firm favourite on the Coronation Street cobbles, and now Chris Gascoyne is set to be joined by his wife in Weatherfield.
The Peter Barlow actor will be sharing the famous street with Caroline Harding, who has previously appeared in the soap as a consultant who diagnosed Hope Stape with cancer in 2015.
Now she's rejoining the street as a doctor and it's believed her character will be connected with the incurable illness of Leanne Battersby and Steve McDonald's three-year-old son Oliver. In the soap Leanne is Peter's ex.
Chris and Caroline have been married since 2002 and they have three children.
Caroline has been in sister soap Emmerdale playing five different characters and she has also appeared in EastEnders.
The actress has been seen at the Trafford Wharf set on the same day as her husband but it isn't known yet if they will share any scenes.
In Emmerdale she played Belinda Connors, Doctor Judd, Dr Garrett, a prosecution barrister and most recently Dr Todd in 2018.
Caroline has also been in Doctors, Holby City, Mount Pleasant, Casualty, Life On Mars and she played a welfare officer in EastEnders.
Chris has played recovering alcoholic Peter since 2000.
His dramatic and memorable stories include his affair with babysitter Tina McIntyre while married to Carla Connor and his revenge on vicar Billy Mayhew after discovering he was responsible for the death of his twin sister Susan.
Peter drove Billy to the edge of a cliff and was horrified when he fell.
He split with Toyah Battersby after learning that his ex had lied and pretended Eva Price's baby was their child with a surrogate.
