Corrie star channels Sandy from Grease in leather display ahead of screen return

Coronation Street star Kel Allen has flustered fans as she glammed up for the weekend.

The actress is best known for playing Laura Neelan in the ITV soap but fans thought she looked a bit more like Sandy from Grease thanks to her latest look.

Her character is about to stand in the witness box in a bid to help daughter Kelly avoid going to prison for the murder of Seb Franklin.

Last month, Laura was arrested on suspicion of child cruelty.

Kelly was heard describing her childhood to the social worker, explaining how her mum would knock her about and then go missing for days.

The teen, who is now fostered by Imran Habeeb and Toyah Battersby, also explained the shocking reason for her distinctive eyebrow scar.

"She'd hit me or push me. She gave me this scar from a fat rock on her finger," she said in the sad scenes.

But while in custody, Kelly decided to reach out to her mum who said she's willing to help her daughter.

This week, Laura takes the stand, claiming Kelly is a model daughter and would never have hurt Seb with viewers having to wait until the end of the week for the verdict.

Meanwhile, Kel has been causing a frenzy off-screen thanks to her latest look.

The soap star channeled Sandy from Grease in a leather display.

Kel looked stunning in a pair of black leather trousers, teamed with a black top featuring sheer puff sleeves.

She captioned the snap: "BLACK MAGIC."

Corrie co-star Harriet Bibby, who plays Summer Spellman, was among the first to comment, writing: "Amazing!!!!"

Former Emmerdale actress Shila Iqbal also said: "Gorgeous kel!"

And fans were full of compliments too.

"Gurlll! You are so stunning oh my wow," one said.

Another commented: "Absolutely beautiful."

"Ohhh hello stunning lady," a third added.

A fourth said in reference to the iconic film: "TALK ABOUT IT STUDDDD."
