Corrie star asks if they've 'missed an episode' as warring trio unite with fans making demand

A Coronation Street star has been left wondering if she 'missed an episode' after one of the soap's warring trios united for a night out.

Kelly Neelan actress Millie Gibson put the question to her on-screen mum Laura, played by Kel Allen.

Viewers watched last week as the devastated teen was found guilty of murdering Seb Franklin in a horrific hate attack.

But as fans know, it was Corey Brent who kicked the builder until he wasn't moving in terrifying scenes aired back in May.

Kelly's fate was seemingly sealed after her mum appeared in court in a bid to help her daughter.

After giving Kelly a glowing review during Imran Habeeb's questioning, Corey's defence barrister Sabeen Habeeb brought up the fact that she had recently been sentenced on a charge of child neglect.

She then read out the damaging words that Laura had instructed her solicitor to say about daughter in that particular case.

Kelly's relationship with her mum is a turbulent one and the teen is now in the care of foster parents Imran and Toyah Battersby.

And Laura hasn't seen eye to eye with the couple in the past.

But things couldn't be more different off-screen as the trio got together.

"Last night....We love each other really," Kel shared alongside a snap of her with Georgia Taylor and Charlie de Melo who play Toyah and Imran in the ITV soap.

"Just missing our daughter @milliegibbo," Kel added.

Millie Gibson, who plays Kelly, was the first to comment, joking: "Haha .. have I missed an episode ?!" before adding: "All looking lovely."

The selfie also left to fans making a demand.

"A trio we need to see more off!!" one commented.

Another replied: "I love this trio so much this pic is the cutest!"

"Wait I love this trio," a third echoed.

A fourth said: "Love this photo the Corrie dream team."

The actors are likely to be spending more together following the fallout of last week's trial verdict.

In heartbreaking scenes, viewers watched as Toyah received a phone call to say Kelly had attempted to take her own life.
