It seems like wedding bells might be about to chime as Todd Grimshaw wants to make an honest man of Billy Mayhew on Coronation Street.
But there's always an ulterior motive with Todd.
When Summer Spellman thanks Billy's ex Paul Foreman for attending her diabetes appointment with her she confides much she misses having him around.
Worried that Paul is muscling in on their rekindled relationship, and determined to prove Summer can trust him, Todd returns home and proposes to Billy.
Then in the Rovers Return the celebrations are cut short on next week's Corrie when Paul warns Billy that if he marries Todd, he’ll live to regret it.
And Summer hands Todd a mysterious letter she found on the porch reading: “Don’t get too comfortable. Your lies will come out."
Elsewhere there's a distressing time for Izzy Armstrong when the factory worker is given an ultimatum by her boss Carla Connor, who confronts her via video call over her shoddy work.
Carla tells her PA Sarah Platt that if Izzy refuses to come back to work, they’ll have to get rid of her.
It's also crunch time for Tyrone Dobbs when Fiz tells him that he needs to tell the girls about the baby today and if he doesn’t, she will.
Elsewhere devious Daisy Midgeley decides to meddle in Alya Nazir and Ryan Connor's relationship.
Alya tells Ryan that Debbie Webster is looking for a trainee manager at the bistro.
And she's pleased when Ryan agrees to apply for the job.
But Daisy tells Ryan that she knows a way for him to make money from his DJ work rather than taking a poxy job at the bistro.
The pair put a business proposal to Jenny suggesting a mobile pub with DJ that the punters can hire and set up in their own gardens, and Alya can’t help wondering if Daisy is after her man.
Daisy and Ryan plan a party for Simon Barlow's 18th birthday but when Alya arrives she’s gutted to see Daisy wearing exactly the same dress.
When Ryan returns home buzzing after the success of the party and singing Daisy’s praises, Alya tells him she thinks Daisy fancies him and he leaps to the other woman's defence.
But it appears Alya's instinct is right as Daisy makes her move when a gig is cancelled.
Daisy ushers Ryan into the back room at the Rovers and plies him with cocktails while Alya is looking for him.
Placing her hand on Ryan’s leg, Daisy wonders if he'd prefer a nagging girlfriend or a wild night of passion.
Meanwhile after Gail's health scare she drops a bombshell that she's off to Thailand again and doesn’t know when she’ll be back.
