Corrie spoilers with a horror crash and sad death news on the cobbles

Todd Grimshaw's conniving has dire consequences next week on Coronation Street.

He hired teenager Will to trick his love rival Paul Foreman by calling the helpline centre where he works, claiming to be in need of help, to land Paul in trouble for being overly invested in his case.

On Todd’s instructions, Will forces his way into the flat Paul shares with his partner Billy Mayhew and his foster daughter Summer Spellman.

Unfortunately, Summer walks in and is horrified to find Will smashing up their things.

Terrified, the teen dashes out of the flat into the path of

an oncoming van in dramatic Corrie scenes.  

As Billy, Paul and Todd return home, they’re horrified to find Summer lying in the road.

Policeman Craig Tinker calls to investigate the burglary and Paul reveals that the culprit was Will.

Tyrone is flustered (ITV)

A furious Billy rages at Paul for bringing Will into their lives while Todd meets Will to slip him £50.

He makes him dispose of his phone and tells him he never wants to set eyes on him again.

Elsewhere Gail receives some tragic news.

She confides in Nick that she's had a call from her father Ted’s partner Andrew to tell her that he has passed away.

The devastated Weatherfield matriarch tells Nick that she’s going to London to help out with the funeral arrangements.

Peter Barlow goes to the Rovers for a hotpot but the noise and smell of the pub soon become too much for him.

Sweating profusely and on the brink of another seizure, the alcoholic has been told to gradually reduce his alcohol intake to avoid sudden death.

But Peter admits that he’s been tipping his medicinal whisky down the sink when his dad Ken’s back is turned.

Tyrone Dobbs confides in Dev Alahan that he wishes he hadn’t asked Alina Pop to move in as he can’t relax with a stranger in the house. And when Alina emerges from the bathroom wearing only a skimpy towel, a flustered Tyrone hurries out.

Meanwhile Jenny Connor visits her husband Johnny in prison where he breaks the news that the neurologist has confirmed his condition has worsened and they’re increasing his MS medication.

Back home her pal Rita Tanner is sympathetic while Daisy Midgeley, the daughter of her ex husband, reckons she should leave him.
