Corrie spoilers next week: Max 'death plunge', Nicky twist and Aggie cheating scandal

Coronation Street viewers have a jam-packed week of light and shade in store on the ITV soap next week, as spoilers have teased everything from a cheating scandal to a critical fall.

Next week on the cobbles, troubled teen Max Turner becomes involved in the love triangle between Daisy Midgeley, Nicky Wheatley and Daniel Osbourne - and it could have devastating consequences.

Elsewhere, Aggie Bailey's stoic loyalty and sense of duty will be tested after her new boss catches her eye at the hospital on Corrie.

Meanwhile, Tim Metcalfe is left deeply embarrassed over another botched attempt at love-making but refuses to discuss it with wife Sally.

Here’s everything coming on Coronation Street next week…

Daniel to expose Max after Nicky twist

Nicky is headed for turmoil next week on the soap, after her prostitute past is exposed to her pupils at the Weatherfield school.

Nicky, played by Kimberley Hart-Simpson, is now a teaching assistant, working alongside her ex Daniel, much to his jealous girlfriend Daisy Midgeley’s annoyance.

The truth about Nicky’s former life reached the school, with Mrs Crawshaw calling Nicky into her office at the school and asking her about her past.

An uncomfortable Nicky admits she used to be a sex worker and to her horror realises that images of her past life are being shared all around the school.

ITV spoilers have now revealed that troubled teen Max Turner will become involved in the drama and Daniel demands he takes responsibility.

Daniel apologises to an unforgiving Daisy and reveals that it was Max who maliciously shared Nicky’s images with the rest of the school.

With no job and nowhere to live, Nicky’s future looks bleak, leaving Daniel offering up his place out of a sense of guilt.

When a reporter comes knocking at the flat, Nicky decides to give her a quote, but she is then horrified when the story about her goes online.

In the street, Daniel rails at Max for ruining Nicky’s life, only for dad David Platt to leap to Max’s defence.

But Daniel’s had enough and suggests it’s time Amy knew who spiked her drink - saying that if Max doesn’t tell her, he will.

Max critically injured in 'death fall'

After Max becomes involved in the Nicky and Daniel drama, his week goes from bad to worse when the teacher demands he takes responsibility.

The drama continues on Wednesday, April 27, when a defiant Max assures David and Shona that Daniel’s bluffing, as he’s got too much to lose.

But when Amy misreads one lad’s admiring glances, she throws a cup of coffee over him and has a meltdown, believing he could have been the one to spike her drink.

Daniel tells David about Amy’s behaviour and tells him she needs to know the truth. Will Max come clean?

The storyline reaches its terrifying conclusion on Friday, April 29, when Max has a huge fall out with David, who has confiscated his phone.

Feeling guilty about Amy, he tells David he hates him - only for David to retaliate by saying Max’s mum would be ashamed of him if she were alive.

Planning to run away, Max smashes the glass on the barber’s door and climbs in, hoping to retrieve his phone.

But as Max climbs out of the barber’s, he lacerates his leg on the broken glass in the door and collapses onto the street. Will Max be found in time or could the break-in have fatal consequences?

Aggie in shock work romance?

Aggie has been known as the loyal matriarch of the Bailey family ever since they stepped foot on the cobbles in 2019 - but this is set to be put to the test.

Next week on Coronation Street, Aggie finds herself drafted to a different ward in the hospital and is told that her new boss, Mr Thorne, is a stickler for detail.

Yet Aggie is surprised when she meets her boss and is instantly charmed by him as he offers her a warm greeting.

Could Aggie find herself tangled up in a messy office romance?

It comes three months after Aggie was accused of having an affair with Tim Metcalfe after Sally got the wrong end of the stick.

Thankfully, the couple have since been able to work it out after the truth was unearthed.

Tim fears the worst as he's diagnosed amid impotence

Next week on Coronation Street, Tim is left deeply embarrassed over another botched attempt at love-making with wife Sally, but refuses to discuss it with her.

Despite her attempts to discuss the situation with him, Tim proves to be obstinate and ends up snapping at her.

Later, Tim is left feeling sheepish over how he reacted towards Sally and offers her a bouquet of flowers as an apology.

After the couple enjoy a meal together, Sally suggests that they have an early night but Tim is worried and embarrassed about his impotence.

But Sally reassures him and says she's happy to settle for a hug.

Later on in the week, Sally urges him to make an appointment with Dr Gaddas to discuss his impotence, but an embarrassed Tim refuses to do so.

Sally is frustrated by Tim's stubbornness, but is relieved when Tim eventually relents and agrees to see the doctor.

What will Dr Gaddas say about Tim's condition and will she be able to help at all?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
