Corrie spoilers: Geoff returns home to find incriminating evidence that will impact Yasmeen’s case

Geoff Metcalfe will uncover evidence of his abusive crimes when he returns home from hospital next week.

The evil Coronation Street DJ, who has been abusing his wife Yasmeen for months, appeared to get his comeuppance when she hit back at him with a wine bottle.

When he threatened her with a knife, she hit him on the head with the glass bottle before sticking the broken end into his neck.

Geoff survived and Yasmeen was arrested - things aren’t looking too good for her at the moment as she waits for her trial.

But it appears that all may be able to change as Geoff discovers the evidence, which could not only impact her case, but also free her.

Fans of the ITV soap have been left increasingly frustrated that no one has discovered Geoff's cameras, which would have filmed the entire incident.

But next week on the ITV soap, however, Geoff looks set to tackle this evidence, which could expose his dark deeds, reports Mirror Online.

Alya has suspected the abuse for a while (ITV)

Alya has already worked out that Geoff has been abusing her grandmother, and during a prison visit she reassures her that she knows all about it.

Elsewhere, dutiful son Tim picks Geoff up from hospital and drives him home once he is almost fully recovered from the altercation.

But Tim is angry when he and Geoff struggle to get into the house and realise that Alya has changed the locks.

Geoff then frantically checks the video feed from the house on his phone.

What will he find? And will he delete evidence which could have helped Yasmeen?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV
