Corrie spoilers as three Weatherfield residents are arrested

There's a lot of police action in Weatherfield as not one but THREE characters are arrested in Coronation Street next week.

Michael and James Bailey are test driving a sports car after James is offered £30k for his interview after publically speaking about his sexuality.

But as they are, a police car pulls them over and when James questions the officer as to why he pulled them over, the officer arrests James for obstruction and handcuffs him.

In the midst of the arrest, James trips and injures his leg.

Craig arrives on the street see James in agony and Michael’s convinced they’re victims of an unprovoked racist attack.

Elsewhere, Laura meets up with journalist Chris in the bistro and tells her she wants £30k for daughter Kelly’s story.

Chris, however, warns Daniel that Laura is trying to sell her daughter's story who goes on to warn foster parents Imran Habeeb and Toyah Battersby.

James injures his leg and fears his career is over in hospital (ITV)

Toyah and Imran make it clear to Laura that if she sells Kelly’s story to the papers, they’ll report her to Social Services and later, a police officer arrives at the factory and arrests Laura on suspicion of child cruelty.

And it's set to be D-day for Todd Grimshaw.

As Billy Mayhew tells Mary they’ve booked their wedding for five weeks' time, Summer Spellman lets slip to Will that Todd gave Billy £1000 towards the halfway house.

The teen quickly realises that Todd has ripped him off and lists all Todd’s crimes and reveals the lengths he went to, to split up Billy and Paul, leaving Summer horrified.

Summer confronts Todd while Will plots to expose him.

The police show up at the factory for Kelly (ITV)

He sends a video to Paul and as the locals gather in Victoria Garden for the calendar launch party, Paul swaps the laptop for his own.

Emma Brooker introduced the film and presses play on the laptop only, to Todd’s horror, the film turns out to be an incriminating video of him telling Will how he successfully split up Billy and Paul.

Billy leaves in disgust before he, Summer and Paul watch as Todd is arrested for theft and led away.

But drama later in the week for Summer could work in Todd's favour as he comes to her rescue.
