Corrie's Vicky Entwistle explains why she won't be watching Sue on I'm A Celebrity

Vicky Entwistle said she won't be tuning in to watch Sue Cleaver on I'm A Celebrity.

The Coronation Street actress hit the jungle on Sunday, tackling a bunch of creepy crawlies head-on during the show's launch. She's already gone down a storm with fans but not everyone will be tuning in to show their support.

Her former Corrie co-star, Vicky Entwistle, said she has no plans of watching despite working closely with Sue for years. The pair were entangled in multiple storylines together so the sudden snub came as a shock to fans.

Taking to Twitter to share her thoughts on the show, she said: "Don't think I will watch I'm A Celeb this season, have a feeling it may become too toxic."

Fans were curious about what she meant by the comment which prompted an explanation. She added: "I don't like pack mentality. It's often cruel and unbearable to watch, so I will give it a miss."

Before entering the jungle, Sue admitted she was concerned people may not gravitate to her real personality and compare her to her Corrie counterpart, Eileen Grimshaw. She said: "This is the scariest part for me. I am a very private person and I am putting myself out there, which is what I am most nervous about.

"Viewers are going to see a different person to the person they think I am! I am very different. That can be worrying. They might decide they don’t like me as much as Eileen!"
